The project is funded by Erasmus+ Youth, within the KA1 Youth Exchanges Partner Countries.

Partners are coming from Cyprus, Armenia, Estonia, Greece, Slovenia, Serbia, Belarus and Ukraine.

Each partner will be represented by 5 youths (including leader) for an Activity in Cyprus, hosted and organized by NECI CY.

Topics we address throughout the project:

(a) there is being observed xenophobia and marginalization, especially nowadays with peoples' movement (immigration, refugees, financial workers, students etc). Many young people seem to be incapable to respond positively to diversity and mention quite often the need to be further informed how to approach and collaborate in order to reduce such as the above mentioned acts.

(b) there are many youths with fewer opportunities (especially with health and economic problems, and some with geographical and social barriers) who want to find ways of overcoming many (or the most) of them and meet ways of appreciating other cultures by opening themselves to the diversity,

(c) There are youths who are not very familiar or much experienced with mobility programmes such as E+. Thus they luck of opportunities to broaden their horizons regarding to intercultural learning and dialogue.

(d) There is special interest on sports, outdoor activities and technology which can be used and combined in favor of intercultural learning

This project Is designed to be implemented through a y.e because youths will design and lead it but also produce joined activities based on NF methods, products and outcomes which will be suggestions and realities for intercultural learning with main purpose to acquire skills and competences how to appreciate diversity and intercultural dialogue.

The activities of the YE are designed based on NFL and include learning by sharing of experiences and practices, sports and modification of sports activities with orientation to Social Inclusion, reflection and debriefing of sessions, guest/expert input on social inclusion/intercultural dialogue with activities along with youths irrespective their origin, ongoing collaborative sessions for creating common partnership final products (booklet, video, photoalbum, website, banner, non formal games, inclusive sport games), intercultural evening, teamwork (orientation, teambuilding, exploring the area, responsibility for localities etc), and recreational time together (movie time, evening games, art, music, dance etc).
