Hello

At the last day participants of the project Activity shared their reflections and discussed the experience in the project. At what follows some of these reflections are presented

My Story

Diana Radkova
I personally liked a lot the topic of the project. In my opinion everything was presented in a good way. for me it was not something new but I definetely enjoyed recalling my knowledge. As I mentioned, everything was explained thoroughly and assistance was given if needed. I like the fact that I had the chance to discuss the given topics with various people. Also, I loved that we are oriented towards practical and creative learning process I would definitely recommend this project to some friends of mine.

Hi, I'm Giulia and I'm a participant of the Italian group.
we arrived at the last day and I will take many things home.
I am happy to have had this experience.
It was very important for me to compare myself with other people, with other cultures.
I learned a lot from them.
The activities were very interesting and constructive.

Andreea Dobre
It was my first project I will admite i’m very impressed. I met new cultures and learned about each one. I learned how to set up my own Erasmus project and even though it was hard sometimes and tiring it was worth it.
I had so much fun during the energizers and I have discovered that you can refreshing yourself in many ways. Here, I learned that I can have fun and work at the same time. I developed my English speaking and learned to work in a team much better, because several do better than one.
I'm glad I came here on my first project.  It was an unforgettable experience where we learned how to express our opinion, how to work in a team, how to make a project and create your own activities.  I was pleasantly surprised and I will definitely go to many more from now on.

Camelia Margaritescu
For me it was a really great opportunity. I have learned so many new things from the experience that other participants shared about preparation and implamention of a project. We worked in large groups and small groups and that helped us cooperate and accept different ideas and multicultural aspect. All the participants developed their communication skills in english and got more confident to express themselves.

I'm writing this email regarding the reflection diary for the project: "Developing By Sharing, Implementing the Project", that took place in 21st -30th of October. It was the first International project I participated in and I firmly believe that it was one of the best experiences of my life.
I had the opportunity to meet youths from different countries and discuss with them about various topics that concern people worldwide. Having the chance to communicate with youngsters from around the world helped me to broaden my horizons and see life from a different perspective.
I found the topic of the specific Erasmus Plus program extremely interesting. I was able to create a project from scratch and actually implement it. The daily activities helped me in numerous ways and I tried to adopt as many of the behaviors I've learned as possible. For instance I developed my interpretational skills (as we had to work in teams the most of the times), practice the English language and boost my confidence at presenting a project in front of a crowd.
Last but definitely not least, in my opinion one of the best "activity" that I had the chance to attend was the intercultural night of each country. It is an incredible opportunity to meet new cultures, to try traditional dishes and to learn more about the ethics of various countries.
Thank you for this incredible experience

My experience in this project was really intense. There was a lot of activities that were hard for me, because I had few ideas of what developing a new project implied. But now I can say that I feel better prepared, and that I learned a lot of things. I gained new experience, and got the opportunity of working in teams, which is always something challenging.
I am glad I came to Cyprus to this project. I've been really comfortable with the participants and facilitators, as well with the accommodation, so it has been a great week.

For me the project was very useful and for sure I'll use the knowledge gained here in the future. In my opinion the project was really well organized, the participants were active and participated fully in all the activities. The facilitators gave everything they had, knew and could to us. Except learning and sharing we had a lot of fun time spent during the energizers, there were so much new and creative ones. Even me, that I have been to almost 20 projects, there were some that I didn't know of. The facilitators and the participants really cooperated well and did a good job.

Great information learnt, great people, great location  and great memories. I am so glad that i’ve been part of this project. For my first experience it was a little hard to express myself, but for the future i will know how to deal with this because of what i’ve practiced here. Thank you for everything. It was nice while it lasted. This experience really opened my eyes about not taking life for granted and enjoying every moment and opportunity.

I found the time spent at the Developing by Sharing project in Paralimni, Cyprus a very valuable experience from which I learnt a lot. As Erasmus participants we discussed how to write and organise a project ourselves and what comes into it. The information was well distributed and the activities, interesting and dynamic and this helped us to secure our knowledge on the topic.

The group we worked in was understanding, respectful and the versatility of the participants made the completion of each task really easy and enjoyable. We formed new friendships, learned a lot about each other’s cultures and together we now have memories, experiences and knowledge for life.

From my point of view, this project was one of the best choices i have ever made in my life. It was a pleasure to be here, in Cyprus, to learn and to develop me as a new person. I learn a lot of useful things which i will not forget to apply in life. Through this project i made friends, but also memories that i will never forget. I’m looking forward to the next Erasmus project!  I will miss you and i’ m glad that i had the change to meet you!

Alex Spain

It has been an incredible experience in which I have learned how to develop an Erasmus + project, which is great for the association I am creating with some friends in Spain.

The organisation of the project is very good as well as the place chosen to carry out the project. The activities, although sometimes long, have helped me a lot to move forward and get out of my comfort zone as well as to learn new things about the development of the Erasmus + programme.

The participants have all been on the same wavelength, which is great because we have been able to connect really well, understand each other and help each other.

The time here has definitely been an investment for the future, we have made the most of every second learning skills and tools that are definitely useful.

The project "Developing by sharing" in Paralimni, Cyprus was one of the best organised projects I have participated in. The participants were carefully selected, the topic was well developed throughout the project, the workshops were very informative and motivating. I loved how educational, creative and intense the program was. The only two things I feel would have made the project even better, would be the inclusion of more physical activities as different types of movement helps and affects the thinking and creativity process positively. The next thing would be including more focus on reflection, as the topic and task were intense and rich in new knowledge, more reflection would have helped processing and remembering the information better. In conclusion, I can say the working environment on the project, the excellent facilitators and experienced participants made the process of developing a project a few steps closer form a dream to reality.

The project was very useful for me.  During the activity I learned how to apply knowledge in practice.

The activities were extremely useful and gave me an idea of how to correctly implement training courses.  I had the opportunity to work in a team in which everyone expressed their opinion and we came to the best solutions. Sharing experiences and different points of view is the basis for the implementation of different projects. I already have a basic knowledge of how to implamating the project.

Those past 10 days were some of the most educational I have experienced. Since I am a person who enjoys and highly appreciates non formal educational methods, I received a massive amount of new information and knowledge that I did not expect. The whole project was based on team work, communication and brainstorming as the activities were not only performed by the participants, but also many of them were introduced by them. I have a small previous experience in writing projects but I am leaving this project with 200% more information about applying, organizing and implementing my ideas. One thing I have to mention is that due to the fact that this is the second module of a two-part project, the beginning was a little chaotic and it required a lot of effort to keep up. However, on the second - third day of the project, I managed to focus and rise up to the occasion.

Overall, it was a great experience for me. It will definitely help me improve my applications and make more steps in the Erasmus+ community. I got to know so many new people and made some important new friendships. There were times I felt too tired but that was also a new experience for me, as I understood at which new point I can actually contribute actively.
