REFLECTIVE DIARY

“Be Active Be Inclusive”
During this project we have learned how to orientate on new ground, it was interesting to find out new experiences outside our country and to develop our curiosities about different things that are happening in a different society. We had to explore the area and beacuse of this we had the chance to develop our orientation skills and communication with people from another country to find help and a common interest. We had the chance to make mistakes and it was really important to accept our mistakes and share them with others so that we can step forward and start our learning process. The hosting team helped us to clearly understand what we had to do and how to organize our time so that we fulfill our needs and implement our suggestions and ideas from the brainstorming activities. Us, the participants, learned how to be more diciplined with our routine, be punctual and also we understood why this is a very important aspect in our lives. And this was important because we wanted to start learning and for that to happen we needed to stay organized and respect the others, not waste their time waiting for us, we had the chance to practice attending at formal and informal meeting with other participants, and also use our qualities which we use everyday. We found out that reflecting on our activities and poiting out the strenghts and the weakneses of our team building experience helps to improve our way thinking for our future team building experiences, for instance in our first days we had a little bit of difficulty working with each other, but day by day practice makes perfect and in the end we gathered a lot of experience in this type of social activity and we can now create an atmosphere and some working space in a much easier way.

On one hand, I found in this project the opportunity to learn about each different country. I didn’t have to much information and i realized how many things we have in common. Every project is different and I think learning from people is the best way to improve myself. On another hand, it is a really useful to learn languages. I feel more confortable after this week speaking in English.

In this project I learned how to understand and work with people from different cultures with the help of name games, team-building activities and more. Also I learned thing from different cultures as well because I had first contact with people who live there and they explained me in a fun and interesting way.
