REFLECTIVE DIARY “Be Active Be Inclusive”
During this project we have learned how to orientate on new ground, it was interesting to find out new experiences outside our country and to develop our curiosities about different things that are happening in a different society. We had to explore the area and beacuse of this we had the chance to develop our orientation skills and communication with people from another country to find help and a common interest. We had the chance to make mistakes and it was really important to accept our mistakes and share them with others so that we can step forward and start our learning process. The hosting team helped us to clearly understand what we had to do and how to organize our time so that we fulfill our needs and implement our suggestions and ideas from the brainstorming activities. Us, the participants, learned how to be more diciplined with our routine, be punctual and also we understood why this is a very important aspect in our lives. And this was important because we wanted to start learning and for that to happen we needed to stay organized and respect the others, not waste their time waiting for us, we had the chance to practice attending at formal and informal meeting with other participants, and also use our qualities which we use everyday. We found out that reflecting on our activities and poiting out the strenghts and the weakneses of our team building experience helps to improve our way thinking for our future team building experiences, for instance in our first days we had a little bit of difficulty working with each other, but day by day practice makes perfect and in the end we gathered a lot of experience in this type of social activity and we can now create an atmosphere and some working space in a much easier way. During one activity that we had outside which involved walking in a new environment with new people and completing certain tasks, we learned how to prepare for such and activity, we learned how and when to aproach locals to discover new information, helpful information for direcional orientation. During our intercultural evenings we had the chance to learn different things about different cultures in a much diverse way then we are used to. During coffee breaks we had the chance to discover a lot of national food from different countries and cultures, we had the chance to learn how to prepare some easy dishes, dished that we had the chance to discover here, in this project, for the first time. We had the chance to discover traditional dances, games, characters and songs, and it is as important to know more about the others as it is to know about yourself. Dueing the activity in which we had to promote our project, we learned how to create props to transmit information to locals and people that were not aware of this project. We had to get out of the confort zone and start learning how to do this kind of acivity. Because of this activity we found out that we have to prepare better in the future and have a smart strategy to succed and which people to aproach and at what time of the day this kind of activities could be more succesful. Also coming back to our free time activities and food breaks, it was very interesting to learn more about the other people, and not only their culture but also about their train of taught, skills, past experiences related to certain work domains,
certain social problems. We had the chance to brainstorm and create/modify some activities to include people with disabilities, and impairments, and from this activity we have learned how to think outside the box and put ourselves in the shoes of other people (with impairments and disabilities) and also we have learned that is very important to create something to include as many categories of people as possible. We took part in a reflection activity about ourselves, it was about a short story, and after the activity I think that we aquired multiple perspectives to observe, understand and explain different things.
WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Cosmin, Arman
Being a participant in this project was surely one of the *must remember* life experience. I got
in touch with a lot of people and had a chance to see as much different as similar things in their
lifestyle. Team-building activities taught me a lot of important lessons, and they helped me to
realize that anyone can be included in any team project and to see beyond the boundaries that
we gave to ourselves. Each of the Inter-Cultural evenings was intelligent, smart and interesting.
I managed to enjoy every moment and I hope that I will participate in more Erasmus projects
and that I will stay in touch with the people I met.

The Erasmus plus youth exchange project ; Be active and be inclusive that
gathered 48 participants of interesting people together from 8 different countries. TThe way we all involved in various activities helped us all reveal all the features of culture. I learned a lot about the social inclusion through active participation. We had lots of indoor and outdoor activities whre of course all participants were included in the work, everyone took activities seriously and
ried to make it as bright, interesting and informative as possible. Morover, we
learned more about each other exchange information of our cultures. such
events are very important and necessary in order not only to study about other
countries but even about one own.

The most important thing that I have learned at the youth excange project in Paralimni in May, is that the goal isn& t always the point of the work, it&;s the process it self. Accepting and understanding other opinions, team building and
brainstorming has shown me how to better myself as an individual and as a team player. Before this project, I didnt realize how serious social inclusion is. Now I
see it from another perspective, and I will try to promote the importantance of recognizing social inclusion because it could solve so many problems.
