Reflections

I am a medical student and the topic of this exchange was interesting for me, so I applied. I learned through various workshops many things and exchanged very interesting information with other people.
The expectations I had were met. I met people from different countries with whom I exchanged various information and also different experiences regarding the topic we worked on and that is STD. The most interesting workshops were group work where we discussed many interesting topics. Also, the organizers guided us well through the whole program. Manu positive memories for the end of project.

REFLECTION DIARIES

DEVELOPING BY SHARING

The project was extremely interesting and educational.  I had the opportunity to learn new things about prevention of sexual risk behaviour.

The activities were interesting and dynamic and they helped me to secure our knowledge on the topic.

I really liked the campaign we conducted in Ayia Napa, because we had to prepare an interesting idea to implement in the form of a game and present it to the local people.  In this way we practically managed to show the acquired knowledge on the topic.

Another important thing I want to say is that the topic was a little disturbing for me at the beginning, but since I had the opportunity to practically talk and learn new things, I can safely talk to different people about it.

I have to say that I had some expectations before the project, but I didn't know that the project would be so great. We had a great team. As for the program itself, I missed a little of physical / interactive activities, alias we had too many discussions for my taste, but it is clear to me that due to our project topic (prevention on risk sexual behavior), but I know that discussions were the main focus of the project. This was my second project and it was better in all ways than my first in terms of team, organizers and program. In short, I must say that I am satisfied with the project in all respects.

This project is kind of perspective changing. There's plenty opportunities to learn english, to connet with people, get to know about different connections, and mainly to learn about risks of sexual activities, I feel more confident about this theme, and I learned ways to do things safely, mainly the project itself was really well scheduled, even though many unexpected things happened everything were handled smoothly. Although it felt like there were to many activities, there was not too much time to rest, but other wise everything was well established, thank you

I had amazing opportunity to participate in youth exchange“ Prevention on Sexual risk behaviour” in Cyprus ( 5-14.04.2022). I met with active youths from Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Lithuania,  Czech Republic and Serbia. It  was very developing and interesting experience which gave me new perspective and help to understand the importance of sharing our ideas, be open and active in the subject. The main topic of the youth exchange was how to increase awareness participants about sexual risk behaviour and how to protect ourselves within sexual activities. We talked a lot about prevention in general in that field, characteristics of diseases that is possible to be infected without obeying the rules of protection and how to talk and spread the knowledge about the topic. Also many workshops and work in mixed country groups inspired me and show me how to manage but accept differences in our countries on understanding this topic. As a team of young people we could understand how important is to be aware and prepared to engage in sexual activities within safe way. Now I feel more aware and encourage to work for local communities and create something what can influence them around the topic. New knowledge I have now give me feeling that I could share new experiences and use in my future work - especially that the subject is extremely important in the group of young people nowadays. Youths are not aware enough to talk about the subject daily. The surroundings also are not also always keen on spreading the knowledge. Thanks to the project we gain the tools how to manage with that, and stop treating the subject like non-existent.

This was my ninth Erasmus+ project and it definitely did not disappoint. I enjoyed a lot the activities, the topic was discussed very well and I enjoyed a lot the research process within the teams I've been allocated in. I think the time table was very good organised, as well as the activities themselves.

Working in teams was a nice experience with a great dynamic and I liked how we all were curious in doing research on the topic, be creative with showing the results, and be open to share own experiences by countries.

The accommodation was great, I rate it with a 10/10, and it's probably one of my top 3 favorite accommodations in Erasmus+ projects. The free time was more than enough in my opinion, I think I had time to see enough of the surroundings during it, and have some nice rest also. I also appreciate a lot how involved the Cyprus team was in showing the surroundings to the participants.

I would definitely come back when I'll have the occasion, thanks for the opportunity!

I found this project very enlightening. I met amazing people who share the same mindset as mine and at the same time build strong relationships or so l think. I believe sexual protection is a very serious concept not discussed enough due to social, cultural and religious restrictions. However,  especially for young people that is a very serious matter as the have not that means to get the information needed to have a healthy sexual intercourse both physically and mentally. So l think thus project was able to gasp this topic nicely enough and not only inform but make it interactive and fun enough for the participants. I also think that more projects like that would be very useful to have.
